Frogging is the informal knitting term for pulling out stitches to correct an error or change a decision. The word comes from the sound of a frog: rip it, rip it.
When you need to frog a long section, pause and identify the row you want to return to. Work slowly, keep the loose yarn supported, and use a smaller needle or a crochet hook to collect the live stitches again.
Unravelling is part of making. It can protect the quality of a finished piece and often teaches you more than pushing ahead with a problem you already know you want to change.
